This was my first time dining here. Firstly, restaurant is decorated beautifully. The host was very kind and helpful, but our server could have been more hospitable. The food was delicious, but the tuna tartare is served with small, broken chips, making it impossible to scoop up the tuna unless you use a spoon. My main issue with this place is that I ended up getting very sick after eating here. I had a terrible headache and ended up vomiting. I visited with my sister and the same thing happened to her at the same time, so I know it was the food. I called the restaurant and left a voicemail, but I received no answer. I would not recommend this place.

I went to Ruby Chowβs for dinner with a business partner recently and had a really great experience! This Asian fusion spot is a hidden gem, even though itβs right across the street from Ponce City Market. Theyβve got an intimate, cool outdoor seating area, as well as an impressively spacious indoor dining room filled with booths, velvet textures and interior design details that are eye candy. I love the jewel-toned decor and nods to nature. I was dining with only one other person, but we were happily surrounded by parties of all sizes. Iβm planning to go back for a birthday dinner with friends and a date night because I need to try more dishes. I need that mango sticky rice. We ordered the Shoyu Tomago (this dish blew my mind, my first time trying it and it was delicious), the Pow Pow Shrimp (name says it all), and the seared scallops (scrumptious). I also tried a couple of cocktails: Purple Rain and The Lychee. Both were super fresh. The customer service at Ruby Chowβs was 10/10. I recommend Mel! She shared the Hanabi with us - spicy tuna on crispy rice topped with serrano, garlic and yuzu ponzu for the perfect crispy, spicy bite. Insanely good. No pics of the food, they were

Came here for a girls night. We sat inside and the atmosphere was wonderful for us to catch up. We ordered an assortment of items that we shared or just had for ourselves. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent The option of have $5 valet parking is a great value for the area.

We enjoyed the vibey atmosphere and the attentive service. The plates are fairly small, and we ordered 13 dishes for a two-person meal (no dessert). The food was very good, and the absolute highlight was the Roti Canai; so amazingly flaky and buttery, the best weβve ever tried, including restaurants weβve sampled in Malaysia and Singapore. This is what we ordered, ranked based on preference: Exceptional (A+): Roti Canai Excellent/Very Good (A/A-): Katsu Bun, Walnut Shrimp (2), Pork Belly & Grits, Miso Black Cod, Spicy Pork Noodle Good (B+/B): Seared Scallops, Wontons OK (B-/C+/C): L. A. Galbi Bun, Kempachi Serrano, Negi-Chutoro, Purple Yam Fries We spent $267 for a two-person meal (18% tip, 13 dishes, one mocktail, no alcohol, no dessert). We really enjoyed our dinner and will be returning to Ruby Chow!
